Giana at 2 months

Giana had her two 

month appointment on Wednesday. She weighs 10 lbs. 12 ounces and is 22.5 inches long. We are so lucky that we have the best pediatrician. We just love Dr. Chen. Talia was her helper to examine Giana and even got to wear Dr. Chen's pink stethoscope. Talia was thrilled.

Giana is doing great and is right on track--socially smiling, cooing, doing mini-push ups on her tummy (and she almost rolled off the doctor's table!), and sleeping and eating as she should. Poor thing got 3 shots in her thighs. We heard a cry that we had never heard before. After a quick nursing session and some tylenol, she was all better!

Chuck E Cheese

We headed to Chuck E Cheese (formerly known as Showbiz) for the first time on Tuesday with some of our good friends from one of my playgroups. I was a bit worried as I haven't stepped into a CEC in years that Talia would not like it, as she gets a bit overwhelmed in places where there are a lot of kids. She also does not like climbing structures. I think that she has Kenny's fear of heights. To my surprise, she loved it! She loved all the games and rides (putting in the tokens), and she especially loved the pizza. She was super excited to even get little prizes with all of the tickets that she won. She has been talking about wanting to go back to "Chuckie Cheesus"--rhymes with Jesus--every day!

I really enjoy reading other blogs, so I am going to try writing here about great things that are happening in my family. With 2 girls now, there is never a dull moment! I hope to include pics and videos for all to enjoy!
