Dresses from ETSY

I ordered these beautiful dresses from ETSY, an online craft website that houses many individual small businesses.  I LOVE them, and the girls looked so beautiful in them, don't you think?

Talia and Giana's Dance Recital

Talia and Giana have both been taking dance this year with the Mundelein Dance Program through the park district.  Talia was in both shows, which made her very excited, and Giana was so excited to finally be able to dance on stage. They both LOVED wearing make up, too! They did a great job!

Stella and Lucia are 7 months!

It has been AMAZING to watch the twins grow this month...I am so proud of them!  They seem to be quickly catching up on their milestones, and have had a big growth spurt, too.  We thankfully didn't have doctor appointments this month, as they both had fevers after their last round of shots, so I don't know how much they weigh, but we can definitely tell that they are growing bigger and chubbier every day!  They can still wear some 3 month clothes, but mostly they are wearing 6 month stuff and even some 9 month stuff that has shrunken down.  They are finally out of newborn sized shoes and into size 1!  They are still wearing size 2 diapers and we have also been putting on size 3 at night b/c they are starting to sleep longer--anywhere from 7:30 to 8:30 pm til 5 am or so!  (Woot Woot!!) It has been so nice to sleep a little longer and actually get some things done around the house, and still go to bed at a reasonable hour!

The babies are rolling all over, and love to grab and swat at objects.  They are transferring objects from hand to hand and are holding on to objects (like my hair) for longer periods of time.  They love to play with toys and play in their activity bouncy seats.  It is so cute to watch them start to bounce.  They are starting to babble and mimic your faces and sounds.  They are starting to make kissing sounds and move their tongues all around too.

Their favorite things to do are sing (or listen to music), look at books, and watch Talia and Giana.  Their big sisters can make them laugh so hard!  It is so great to see!

They love to sit in their high chairs and play with toys while eating.  They are now eating 3 "meals" per day--cereal at breakfast, a cereal/fruit mix at lunch and a veggie and fruit at dinner.  They are holding their bottles most of the time, just like big girls!

Puppet Show

Kenny likes to "perform" puppet shows for the twins each night, and Talia has started to join him.  They like to sing songs to the babies and the babies think that they are the greatest and funniest things!  They seem to really like animals, esp. dogs, so we'll definitely have to go to the zoo this summer.

Stella just got glasses for her astigmatism, and hemangioma that is growing under her eyelid.

Talia's Defile

Anyone who knows Talia knows that she LOVES to sing!  She has been taking a singing class since January with an amazing teacher and cantor at our church.  She actually has a pretty good voice, too! Here are some pics from their end of the year show...

She sang "Castle on a Cloud" and "Do You Hear the People Sing?" from Les Mis.  She loved wearing a red beret!
