Giana is 5 months

Giana is getting more fun everyday! She is really starting to fall into a "schedule" now, pretty much eating breakfast, lunch and dinner with a few "snacks" (aka nursing sessions) thrown in there. She is also sleeping more soundly and even gave us 11 hours 2 nights in a row...I hope that we are on to something. I can't tell you what a difference the sleep has made to me (not that I slept for 11 hours--I wish!) She is so happy to eat and loves to watch me make her cereal. She seems to like oatmeal better than rice cereal. We have tried some orange veggies, like carrots and squash, both which she liked. We also tried peas, and she did not like them so much, but happily ate them once I mixed it into her oatmeal. She also moves all over now--well, in a small area, by pushing her feet against the floor and lifting her butt. If she is playing with her play gym and swatting at the objects hanging above her, it won't take her long to move to where she wants to be. No more leaving her unattended on the couch or changing table! She is saying more sounds and seems to be playing with her voice more. Very fun. Besides constantly having her hands and her thumb (!) in her mouth constantly, she has also found her feet. She hasn't brought them to her mouth yet, but I am sure that is next. I love that! No doctor appointment this month, so no shots! Hooray!
